If you are a victim-survivor yourself, a friend or family member supporting a loved one, someone who works for a charity or organisation supporting victims of sexual violence, or just someone who wants to get involved, get in touch using the contact form below, and we will get back to you via email to discuss this (so please make sure you spell your email address correctly!) You can also get in touch with us by emailing us directly:

No prior writing experience is required. Your blog post(s) will be published under your first name only (or a fake first name, if you’d prefer) and will be proofread by an editor before being published.

Help Victims of Sexual Violence

There are many ways to help victims of sexual violence. The following organisations accept volunteers:

Rape Crisis

This organisation helps female victims of sexual violence.

Volunteers should be women aged 18 or over who are able to commit a certain number of hours per week or month.

Survivors UK

This organisation helps male victims of sexual violence.

Helpline volunteers should be able to volunteer 2 shifts per month answering their helpline, as well as attend monthly group supervision, and should be able to volunteer for a minimum of 12 months. Training is provided.

Victim Support

This organisation supports male and female victims of all crimes and has a variety of different volunteering opportunities.
